Fleet Foxes put on a transcendent show last night. The band is amazingly good live—the instruments and four part harmonies are very tight. Someone in the crowd suggested Neil Young as the only comparison—I think I hear David Crosby. And they’s funny too!

Opener was Frank Fairfield—think O Brother Where Art Thou meets Simple Jack. But musically very dense stuff on his handpicked banjo/violin/guitar.
